Risen Christ Catholic School is located in south Minneapolis in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood. Founded in 1993, it serves over 340 children from grades K-8. Our student population is 74% Latino and 18% African American and African. Over half are English language learners. Research-based literacy instruction is imbedded in all grades with measurable results that demonstrate high levels of progress, achievement and success.
 
Our purpose is to make rigorous, values-based education accessible to children of all faiths, races and cultures helping them prepare themselves for success in work and in life.
The School is fully accredited by the Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (MNSAA).
