Annual Fund Highlights

As was the case this past fiscal year, Risen Christ School will continue to seek ongoing annual gifts to support the tuition assistance program, educational programs and the schoolÕs general operations.

Tuition receipts pay about 15% of the true cost of educating a student at Risen Christ School. For example, the full tuition, or family share, for the 2006-2007 school year is $1,950, while the actual cost of educating a student is $6,500. Many of area families cannot afford to pay $1,950 (85% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch), so we provide financial aid for 90% of the families attending Risen Christ. In order to keep tuition affordable for our families, we must raise about 50% of our operating budget from foundations, corporations, church partners and individuals.

The 2006-2007 annual fund goal is $800,000 and we have until the end of June 2007 to raise this figure.

This year we are offering a new option of giving to Risen Christ and that is Name-A-Fund, in the form of a scholarship fund. For example: An individual or a family can design the name of their fund and set up a monetary goal for their fund. This goal can be realized through out the fiscal year. Gifts through other family members, friends, honorariums and memorials can go toward this goal as well.
