Ways to Give
There are many ways to make a financial gift to Risen Christ School.
Transfer of stock
The best way to give a gift of stock to Risen Christ School is a direct transfer, via DTC, from your brokerage account to Risen Christ School’s account at RBC Dain Rauscher. Our DTC number is 0235. Our broker is David Weingartner—952-838-8165.
Please tell your broker the type of security you wish to transfer and instruct him or her to include your name when making the transfer so that both RBC and we know it is your stock.
Please also let the Risen Christ School Advancement Office know the name of the stock, number of shares or approximate value of the gift and what your gift is for (Annual Fund or another special purpose campaign). Donating mutual fund shares or transferring stock certificates require special handling. Please check with your broker.

IRA Distributions
Congress has extended the Charitable IRA Rollover through December 31, 2011. If you are age 70 ½ or older, you may make a tax-free transfer of up to $100,000 in any calendar year directly from your IRA or Roth IRA to Risen Christ School. Your contribution can satisfy your required minimum distribution.

Tribute Gifts
Give a tribute to a loved one by making a charitable donation in honor or in memory of a person or family member. You can also honor a special occasion such as a wedding anniversary, retirement or birthday. We will acknowledge both the donor and those honored or held in memory.

Matching Gifts
Many companies and employers offer matching gifts for employee/retiree dollars donated and for time spent volunteering. Contact your company’s Human Resource department to find out if they offer this great benefit. Just fill out the company matching contribution form and mail it to us with your gift. We will take care of the rest and acknowledge both your gift and its match. Click here for a partial list of Minnesota companies that offer matching gifts.

Endowment Gifts
Gifts can be designated for the Risen Christ School Endowment, which is managed by the Catholic Community Foundation. Your gift will be used in perpetuity for the School. You may specifically choose to make a gift to the Mary L. and John P. Byron Endowment Fund, a part of the School’s Endowment, for tuition assistance. A named fund must be a minimum of $25,000 in order to establish it.
